About S.M.F

The Sussex Music Festival (SMF) is a self-funded, not for profit charity (registered number pending) supporting local residents with grants. Specifically grants to enable music to enhance the lives of those we support. We started out in 2016 as the idea of Aiden & Sabrina Leech; essentially to put on an outdoor music festival promoting local music, encompassing the community and raising money for charity.

After our first three epic years in Copthorne supporting Cancer Research, the BHF, St Catherine's and Young Epilepsy; SMF moved and with the aid of our fantastic crew and the fundraising team we threw open the gates to 2019 at, and in aid of, Crawley Down Village C of E School  and made over 2k for the school.

2020 we return to Crawley Down with great music, great food, a fully stocked bar, lots of interesting stalls, workshops and children activities. The festival is family friendly - children are positively encouraged! You do not need to be part of the school or even local to Crawley Down - it really is open to all!

The Festival will again be FREE ENTRY....donations are very much appreciated either in advance or into the readily available donation points on the day
